Lookout Recertification
Introduction
Following the 2 year validity of the competency nearing expiration, or just past it (no more than 8 weeks), a candidate can attend the recertification course.
Course Information
Course Length: 1 Day
Course Objectives:
Upon successful completion of the course, the candidates will be refreshed enough to be able to interpret correctly the relevant parts of the Rule Book, the Track Safety Handbook and will understand the relevant aspects of the Sentinel Scheme appertaining to Lookout/Site Warden competent persons.

- Introduction and the need for recertification
- Course workbook for Lookout/Site Warden
- Relevant scenarios
- Course workbook review and appropriate training
- Revision
- Lookout/Site Warden theory and practical assessment
- Feedback
Upon successful completion the candidate can have their Sentinel Card updated with their renewed competency.
